- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I want to provide a completely objective honest review. I had gone to Dr. Yount's office for several years and they were very friendly. Gradually they became a bit pushy about replacing amalgam fillings with composite fillings. I gave in and had several amalgam fillings replaced but still wasn't convinced it was necessary. I went to another dentist for a second opinion. This second dentist told me that my amalgam fillings were fine and looked at my new composite fillings. One of my composite fillings had cracked part of my tooth and the others were "poorly done" in the words of my new dentist. My new dentist also said he was more concerned about quality and longevity my 1 year old composite fillings than that of my 20 year old amalgam fillings. Dr. Yount is a nice guy and possibly a decent dentist, however my composite fillings from his office were evaluated by another dentist as "poorly done".January 22, 2017by A Google User
